The thrill isn’t gone just yet. Sure, B.B. King may be getting up there in age, and have trouble moving around on stage, but he’s still the king of the blues. He’s been recording songs since the ’40s, and released over 50 albums (78s, 8-tracks, cassettes, albums, and now CDs). King mixes traditional blues with jazz, swing, and pop — creating his trademark sound (with his trusty sidekick Lucille). Go see a legendary artist, at the historic Balboa Theatre, near downtown San Diego.
